Ride Assist

Twenty years of getting people where they need to go.

Before Ride Assist was anything else, it was a van, a driver, and a rider who needed to get to dialysis on time. We've spent the last twenty years in this work in Los Angeles: behind the wheel, on the phones before sunrise, and in the living rooms of riders and their families.

Where we started

We started out driving. Early mornings, the same riders three times a week, learning who liked the radio on and who needed an extra minute at the door.

What we've learned

A ride is never just a ride. It's someone's treatment, their job, a visit with a grandchild. When a van is late, a whole day falls apart. We haven't forgotten that.

Why we're still here

Because the people we drive become people we know. Everything we do today comes from those years on the road, and from the riders and drivers who taught us.
